從LSF54談聲音藝術的宿命——在成為光的祭獻之後

我應該可以這樣說，失聲祭第54場（L54）為我們揭露了聲音藝術「再定義」的必要。「失聲祭」除了提供聲音藝術發表的場所外，我相信更重要的是，藉由其中之「各種差異」持續地進行聲音藝術的「定義」。講述聲音藝術是什麼，如同試圖定義視覺藝術般是種苛求，或許我們應該採取當代流行的逆向策略，只消問「什麼不是聲音藝術」即可。讓我妄為地替其下一個排除性定義：「非人為技藝而生的聲音，即便再怎樣好聽，都不是聲音藝術」。姑且不論這定義的嚴謹性，在此我顯然將聲音藝術與視覺藝術進行了無數次的對比，以區分並界定我所能接受、感受為藝術展演的各種聲光表演，並且形構了一種光譜式解讀架構：從視覺藝術到聲音藝術（反向亦同）。以此光譜式理解為基礎，我試圖透過L54的「小例示」，除了討論兩位藝術家的演出之外，亦希望藉此再示視覺藝術與聲音藝術的宿命糾結。

Artist︱ Mr. Matrix (Aluan.Wang)  
Hsin-Jen is born in 1982 in Taichung, Taiwan. He earned his BFA degree from Visual Communication Design Department in 2006. His specialties are CIS design and motion graphic. He is now a current graduate student of Department of New Media Art. He is interested in exploring the possibilities of integrating sounds and visual images. In his performance, sounds are controlled by the visual images he creates. During his extracurricular time, he is also an active pd workshop instructor.

LEE, Po-Tin ( 李柏廷 )

Artist︱Lee, Po-Tin 

Born in 1986 in Taipei, with congenital severe thalassemia- which is almost impossible to cure serious diseases, become a major creative context of him.

College majoring in sculpture, mainly worked on Dynamic / Equipment, but also tried on Sound creation.

Now study in graduate school of Technology Arts Center, Taipei National University of the Arts, try to combine dynamic equipment, sound and other media in creations.
