David Toop is a composer/musician, author and curator based in London, experienced in many fields of sound art and music, including improvisation, sound installations, field recordings, pop music production, music for television, theatre and dance. He has recorded Yanomami shamanism in Amazonas, appeared on Top of the Pops with the Flying Lizards, exhibited sound installations in Tokyo, Beijing and London’s National Gallery, and performed with artists ranging from John Zorn, Evan Parker, Bob Cobbing and Ivor Cutler to Akio Suzuki, Elaine Mitchener, Lore Lixenberg, Scanner and Max Eastley. Since his first album, released on Brian Eno’s Obscure label in 1975, he has recorded nine solo albums, including Screen Ceremonies, Black Chamber and Sound Body, and many collaborations. Currently writing Into the Maelstrom: Improvisation, Music and the Dream of Freedom, he is also the co-creator of Sculpture events with artist Rie Nakajima. Since 2013 he has been Professorial Chair of Audio Culture and Improvisation at University of the Arts London

Siou Ming is an audiovisual artist, his work include A/V, installations, live performance, incidental music, covering sound art and ambient electronic music. From hearing and perception side, Siou Ming’s work not only explores different values, people's faith in modern life but also petites perceptions from living environment and where the various forms of existence are.
Fangyi Liu 劉芳一

Fangyi Liu is a sound artist based in Kaohsiung, his work focuses on noise collage and field recording and he usually uses objects and voice as source material in his improvised performance. Despite the difficulties in translating, his is currently absorbed in French avant-garde poet and musician Henri Chopin’s sound poetry. Liu is one of the operators of Cochlea, a sound promotion unit in Kaohsiung and he is also a member of Poor Squirrel, an experimental tape group cooperating with noise artist Gu, Huan-Zhang.

Szkieve is the project of Dimitri della Faille born in Belgium and now residing in Ottawa, Canada. Since 1997, Szkieve, he has given performances and workshops in over 15 countries (such as Argentina, Brazil, China, Chile, Ecuador, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay). He has performed in a wide variety of alternative cultural venues, art galleries and established festivals (such as Elektra and Mutek). Szkieve has released half a dozen solo CD's, and about as much collaboration and split releases on CD's and on vinyl. Dimitri is the founder of the Hushush label.

YI addicts to the extreme boundary of acousto-optics and focuses on the exploration of human desires and the constructions behend sensation, lighting and acoustic sources in the present age. His works include sound、theatre productions and installation art. Yi has performed for LSF75, On Site 2013 and Digital Art Festival Taipei 2012. Currently he is one of the members of CBMI.

LAI: Born in 1988, he is now studying his MA degree in the School of Film and New Media in TNUA. Currently he is one of the curators of LSF, co-sponsored interdisciplinary performances with ET.Lab. His creations began with audiovisual sources, and ends in the quest for the meaning of life. Recently he starts working on his solo sound performances.
Yun Jen Lee (李昀臻)

Yun Jen received his MA degree in Physics from National Taiwan Normal University and has been teaching physics in high school for five years. At the present, he is working on interactive installations and audio-visual performances. In 2010, he started teaching physics through the use of pure data as an assisting tool and shared his reviews with Openlab.Taipei. He has performed at demoparty, 2011 icos and On Site.

Klaus Bru 卡 – C-Melody & C-Soprano Saxophone, Flute, Electronics
Klaus Bru (卡 = pronounced Kaa) is one of only a few saxophonists performing exclusively on the rare C-Melody and C-Soprano saxes. German born Klaus Bru has traveled widely, for real and in music. He brings in the folk music of the world (typically from Eastern Europe and Turkey), Avant-garde ridden improvisation concepts, air sounds and electronic noises, strange meters and odd tempos, plus tangible melodies over the moving chords of jazz standards or his own compositions. Klaus Bru has performed and recorded in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. with such diverse musicians as Franz Hautzinger, Peter Herbert, Bilal Karaman, Shih-Yang Lee, Michael Moser, Sunny Murray, Marc Ribot, Martin Stepanik, Sabu Toyozumi, Chaoming Tung, to name just a few. Currently, he shares his time between Vienna, Taipei, and Beijing.
